As I sit here typing I can hear Robert reading and singing to Lainey as they go through their bedtime ritual. I can't help but think about how blessed I am. I have the life I always dreamed of but never really thought would get: a happy, healthy, beautiful child, a husband that loves me and wonderful friends that I don't know what I would do without. Just like everyone else, I have weathered my share of heartaches and it was not that long ago that Mother's Day was a holiday I really didn't look forward to for a number of reasons, but I believe in my heart that without those times, I would not appreciate the great times. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day today.

Happy Mother's Day
