Lainey loves to help empty the dishwasher and it doesn't matter if the dishes are clean or dirty! When she hears Daddy open the dishwasher she stops whatever she is doing and comes crawling as fast as she can! As you can see from the location of the blue plate, she's a VERY good helper!

Monday Morning Sunshine
Grandma and Grandpa Davis-recognize the box? You have to look carefully at times in this video but it's the one you used to send Lainey's Valentine's Day gift. We played with that box for over an hour last night and she loved this little game we came up with of "soft and loud." The girl just loves to be startled and we love her laugh.

New Discovery
I spilled my bowl of cereal (dry thankfully) all over the floor this morning. Of course, it was the stuff from the bottom of the cereal bag so a lot of crumbs. I got out the vacuum while Lainey was in the other room and upon hearing the noise, she decided to check it out. She started shaking and crying! She's afraid of the vacuum! Just like her Mom!

Story Time with Daddy
Lainey's favorite book is 10 Little Ladybugs and we read it of course, repeatedly. It's the only time you can get the girl to sit still! I didn't think she'd ever choose a favorite book. I find it ironic that we call her Laineybug and her favorite book is about ladybugs.

Drinking from a cup
We seem to be bypassing sippy cups these days and going for the big girl cup. I love how it covers up most of her face when she takes a drink.
Playdate
Lainey got a great surprise this morning when she woke up--a playdate with her friend Sam! She was so excited and happy to have someone her own size to play with!
